Your privacy matters to me.
This policy explains what information I collect when you use andyhaynes.uk or get in touch, why I collect it, and how I look after it.
Who I am
This website is run by Master Plan Focus Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 13187577).
Our registered office is Severn House, Prescott Drive, Worcester WR4 9NE.
Master Plan Focus Limited is responsible for your information (the “data controller”) and is registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office under registration number ZC281219.
If you have any questions, email [email protected] or call the Andy Haynes Team on 01905 900 747.
What I collect
- When you get in touch: your name, email address, phone number and anything you choose to tell me, such as details of your event.
- When you join my Short Sunday Story list: your name, your email address, and when and how you joined.
- When you book training or an event: the details needed to arrange it, and to send and keep invoices.
- When you browse this website: how you use the site, but only if you say yes to cookies. My Cookie Policy explains more.
I don’t ask for sensitive information, such as health details, so please don’t send it.
How I use it, and why I’m allowed to
- To reply to you and help you. This is in both our interests, because it’s what you asked me to do (“legitimate interests”).
- To send you the Short Sunday Story and the occasional email about my books, training and events. I only do this with your permission (“consent”), and every email has an unsubscribe link.
- To arrange and deliver your booking. I need to do this to keep my side of our agreement (“contract”).
- To keep financial records. The law requires this (“legal obligation”).
- To see how the website is used and to show my adverts to people who have visited. I only do this if you say yes on the cookie banner (“consent”).
I will never sell your information.
Who can see it
Your details may be seen by my small team, and by trusted services that help me run things:
- GenieAI (provided by HighLevel), which runs my website, contact list and emails.
- Microsoft 365, which runs my email inbox.
- My call-answering service, which answers calls for the Andy Haynes Team.
- AI tools that help me draft replies and organise my work.
- Wistia, which plays the videos on this website.
- Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, which show me how the website is used, only if you say yes to cookies.
- LinkedIn and Meta (Facebook and Instagram), which help me show my adverts, only if you say yes to cookies.
- My accountant, for financial records.
They only use your details to help me look after you, and they must keep them safe.
I’ll only share your information with anyone else if the law requires it.
Information sent outside the UK
Some of these services are based in, or store information in, the USA.
When that happens, your information is protected by the safeguards UK law requires, such as the UK’s International Data Transfer Addendum or the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
How long I keep it
- Enquiries: up to 2 years after we were last in touch.
- Short Sunday Story list: until you unsubscribe. After that, I keep only your email address on a “do not email” list, so I never contact you by mistake.
- Bookings and invoices: 6 years, because the law requires it.
- Website statistics: 14 months.
Your rights
You have the right to:
- get a copy of the information I hold about you;
- have anything that’s wrong corrected;
- ask me to delete your information;
- ask me to limit or stop using it;
- object to how I use it;
- take your information to another organisation;
- change your mind about anything you agreed to, at any time. Use the unsubscribe link in any email, or Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
To use any of these rights, email [email protected].
I’ll reply within one month, and there’s no charge.
Keeping it safe
I use well-known services with strong security, and only people who need your information can see it.
If you’re unhappy
If you’re unhappy with how I’ve handled your information, please tell me first so I can put it right.
You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
